This charming traditional cottage is located on a spacious site of mature gardens and woodland at Maumfin, Moyard. The cottage offers a tranquil and peaceful stay, while still being close to all amenities. Boasting countryside views, natural gardens and a peaceful location, this property is just a short stroll from Ross Beach. A short drive will bring you to the local towns and villages. An ideal location to explore all that the Connemara region has to offer. Close to Connemara National Park, the park boasts wonderful hill and woodland trails for all to enjoy. Kylemore Abbey and Victorian Gardens is also nearby and offers a wonderful experience for visitors. Boat tours are available close by at Killary Fjord and Letterfrack Bay. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, you are just a short distance from a selection of beautiful sandy beaches and activities including fishing, hill walking, hiking, boat tours, pony trekking, golf, boat trips, and much more.
Facilities:
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms – Sleeps 6. The accommodation is over two levels and includes a combined kitchen and dining area, living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an upstairs mezzanine area. Wi-fi is available and the property offers all modern conveniences.
The welcoming entrance hall leads into a spacious living room with ample furniture, & wood burning stove. The country cottage style kitchen is well equipped with all necessary equipment microwave, kettle, toaster, Rayburn Aga style cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. A large kitchen table provides a perfect space for group meals and get-togethers.
The sleeping accommodation consists of three double bedrooms. Bedrooms are well furnished with lockers, lamps, wardrobes or drawers. Bedroom 1 is a double room with ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 also a double room with access to the mezzanine area which has a small couch and Smart TV. Bedroom 3 is a large double room with dual aspect windows. The main bathroom is spacious and includes a shower, bath, WC and sink. The hall area between the living room and kitchen features a reclaimed original stone wall, floor to ceiling window with comfort seating- the perfect space to read a book and soak up the peace and tranquillity of the cottage. Bed linen and towels are provided. Pets are welcome. Cot and highchair available. Smoking is not allowed. Utilities included. Wi-Fi included. Parking is available for two cars. Short breaks are available.
A security deposit of €200 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.

Wir haben die Zeit in dem geräumigen und liebevoll eingerichteten Haus sehr genossen!Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und lädt zum Erkunden ein, auch zu Fuß.Unsere Ansprechpartnerin Aideen war sehr hilfsbereit und hat prompt auf unsere Anfragen reagiert. Vielen Dank!

We all loved this cottage. It looks beautiful, inside and out, and we loved being in such a remote location, yet within easy reach of Roundstone and other Connemara highlights. Our only reservation is that it did feel a bit damp inside, and we couldn't work out whether the heating was working properly or not.

I spent three weeks here in January and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage was well-equipped for a long stay and cooking for myself every night and was really warm with plenty of hot water.
