It's hard to believe that this chic, spacious 2 bedroom townhouse was once the old railway cottage, built in 1916 to house the workers building the English railway.
In 2017 we renovated our home to an exceptional standard introducing a brand new kitchen, heated floors, skylights and a bi-folding door.
Perfectly located just a short walk from the Historic City Centre and College Grounds and under a 5 minute walk to Oxford Station.
This property is managed by a professional co-host of Airbnb.

Originally owned by the Church of England the old railway cottage was built in 1916 to house the workers building the English railway.
In 2017 this house was beautifully renovated to an exceptional standard creating a modern spacious townhouse.
This beautiful old house stands opposite the old Osney Power Station which was Oxford's first power plant open between 1892 and 1968. SLEEPING & REFRESHING Bedroom 1: Super King Size Bed / First Floor Bedroom 2: Double Bed / First Floor *all beds dressed in hotel quality linen* - Travel cot included, please bring your own linen and bedding if required Bathroom 1: Bath Tub, Walk In Shower, WC & Basin / First Floor *Fresh towels and mini toiletries provided* Plus: - Hair Dryer - Iron & Ironing Board - Washer / Dryer EATING & CHILLING Brand new kitchen with skylights and a bi-folding door leading out to the beautifully landscaped garden. Fully equipped, including: - Kettle, Toaster, Microwave - Oven, Gas Hobs - Fridge, Freezer - Dishwasher - Coffee Plunger - Coffee Machine (pods not included) + all the pots, pans and utensils to cook up a feast! Enjoy your meal at the dining table or kitchen island. - Children's high chair available for use After a long day of sight seeing, kick back on the beautiful and comfy sofa and watch your favourite shows on the Apple TV. Please note: Netflix and other apps are available for use but will require your login details, regular channels are not available. In the winter, take advantage of the underfloor heating in kitchen.
In the summer, there is a fan available for your comfort. *WiFi runs throughout the entire of the property* DISCOUNTS ** 20% off ‘Food’ menu at The Alchemist, Westgate, Oxford, for all guests ** Offer not valid on Saturdays - Offer not valid during 25th November - 25th December - All other menus including ‘Bottomless Brunch’, ‘Drinks’ and ‘Christmas’ are excluded. Guest access Guests will have access to our entire home. SELF CHECK IN Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am. Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys and call outs, so please be careful with them. PARKING Unfortunately no free parking is available.
I would recommend checking out 'JustPark' or 'YourParkingSpace' online for cheap nearby parking solutions. OTHER Please do not use an Amazon Sellers Account with the use of our WiFI during your stay.
